  Bocce Tournament June 21, 2009
La Bella Festa Bocce Tournament

The second annual La Bella Festa Bocce Tournament was held this summer on a sunny Father's Day, Sunday, June 21, at the Eagle-Vail Pavilion. The tournament once again featured an afternoon of bocce, delectable appetizers, accordion music by Walter Ammon, a silent auction, Italian emcee extraordinaire Rocky Christopher and an incredible Italian dinner catered by The Gourmet Cowboy.

Forty teams of four competed for the first place prize of $1000. Captained by Rob Davis, this year's first place winner was Select Services, who generously donated $500 of the prize money back to Swift Eagle. The second place winner was Walls and Floors, The Paint Bucket. Decked out in Italian gondolier style outfits, the Car Quest team of Pella and Chris Eklund and Howard and Barbara Rothenburg won the Best Costume award.
